ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY (AUP)

1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the use of all services provided by NodeMania, including but not limited to:
- Shared Web Hosting
- Business Hosting
- WordPress Hosting
- Cloud VPS
- Managed Cloud Servers
- Domain Services
- Email Services
- Monitoring Services
- Backup Solutions
- CDN Services
- Security Tools
This policy is designed to protect the integrity, security, reliability, and performance of our infrastructure and all customers using it.
By using NodeMania services, you agree to comply with this AUP.
2. General Prohibited Activities
You may NOT use NodeMania services to engage in, promote, or facilitate:
- Any illegal activity under applicable local, national, or international law
- Fraudulent or deceptive practices
- Identity theft or impersonation
- Financial scams or phishing schemes
- Hosting content that violates sanctions or export laws
- Activities that damage or interfere with our infrastructure
3. Network Abuse & Infrastructure Exploitation
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks
- Attempted intrusion into any network or system
- Port scanning or vulnerability scanning without authorization
- Brute-force attacks
- Exploiting software vulnerabilities
- Unauthorized access to data or accounts
- Running open proxy servers or anonymizing gateways
- Cryptocurrency mining on shared hosting
- Excessive resource usage impacting other customers
For VPS and Cloud Server users, security of your instance is your responsibility. However, abuse originating from your server will result in immediate action.
4. Spam & Email Abuse
You may NOT use our services to:
- Send unsolicited bulk email (spam)
- Operate mass mailing lists without opt-in consent
- Send phishing emails
- Send malware attachments
- Manipulate email headers
We enforce strict anti-spam monitoring. Accounts violating email policies may be suspended without notice.
5. Malware & Harmful Content
Prohibited content includes:
- Malware
- Ransomware
- Trojans
- Botnet command & control systems
- Exploit kits
- Keyloggers
- Remote access trojans
- Malicious scripts
We reserve the right to scan and remove malicious content to protect infrastructure stability.
6. Intellectual Property Violations
You may not host:
- Copyrighted material without authorization
- Pirated software
- Cracked applications
- Illegal streaming services
- Torrents distributing copyrighted works
Violations may result in DMCA takedown and suspension.
7. Adult & Sensitive Content
Adult content policies may vary depending on jurisdiction and data center regulations.
The following is strictly prohibited:
- Child exploitation content
- Non-consensual explicit material
- Human trafficking related material
Such content will be reported to authorities.
8. Resource Usage & Fair Use
Although NodeMania offers scalable infrastructure:
- Shared hosting accounts must not excessively consume CPU, RAM, or I/O
- Scripts causing instability may be restricted
- Automated bots must not overload systems
- Long-running background daemons are not allowed on shared hosting
Cloud VPS customers are allocated dedicated resources but must not impact network integrity.
9. Security Responsibility
Customers are responsible for:
- Securing their applications
- Updating CMS/plugins
- Using strong passwords
- Preventing compromise
- Monitoring their servers
Compromised accounts may be temporarily suspended to protect the network.
10. Monitoring & Enforcement
NodeMania reserves the right to:
- Monitor traffic patterns
- Investigate abuse reports
- Suspend or terminate accounts
- Remove malicious files
- Restrict network access
- Report criminal activity
We may act without prior notice in cases of severe abuse.
11. Reporting Abuse
If you suspect abuse on our network, contact:

- IP address
- Domain
- Description of abuse
- Supporting evidence
12. Suspension & Termination
Violations may result in:
- Immediate suspension
- Permanent termination
- No refund eligibility
- Reporting to authorities
- Legal action if required
13. Amendments
NodeMania may update this AUP at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance.
